What is Trust Score?

Vietnamese doc:

Slide:

TrustScore is a project focusing on Decentralized Identity and a Social media platform within the NEAR Protocol ecosystem. Our goal is to provide a reliable way to verify user identities, enhance credibility, and establish decentralized identification on the NEAR system, thereby strengthening security, preventing fraud, and building trust within the community.

For the social network aspect, TrustScore creates a community of high-quality interactions where users can engage with trustworthy individuals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and businesses. By utilizing the TRUST rating system, we create an environment where users have the ability to verify and validate identities while maintaining decentralization, while also promoting the creation and sharing of quality content

TrustScore's Solution

Each user within the NEAR Protocol will be evaluated based on their TRUST score, which is a measure of their credibility. For example, let's take the account Alex.near, who has accumulated 1000 TRUST points on the TrustScore social network. To achieve this TRUST score, Alex.near had to demonstrate their credibility by creating and sharing high-quality content, utilizing their expertise and knowledge to be recognized and evaluated by the community. We refer to this mechanism as "Proof of Progress."

TrustScore is building:

  • : Users accumulate their credibility through TRUST on the platform.

  • : Once users have accumulated TRUST, they can verify their identity across the entire NEAR Protocol network.

Note: TRUST points are not tokens and do not have a monetary value or the ability to be exchanged for currency or transacted through accounts. TRUST points will be designed on the NEAR Smart Contract.
